Hey Y’all! My name is Adaobi. Nickname’s, “Ada,” “Dobie,” “Buttercup,” and whatever else you would like to call me. I am an animeniac (anime addict), I live for horror movies/psychological thrillers and my drug of choice is writing. I am also a mental health enthusiast, self-love ambassador and body positivist.

So I put up my picture here because you’re not going to see a lot of that on this blog. This blog is more about you than it is about me. I’ll insert myself into the posts always, but only to show you that I can relate and that whatever you’re going through you’re not going through it alone. I’m going to tell stories, I’m going to share feelings, I’m going to try to connect. It’s so easy to feel like you’re alone when you’re dealing with your problems but I want you to know, you’re not.

I also want to help you discover yourself and help yourself through my words and my experiences. Writing is like therapy to me so I’m definitely coming to my happy place when I write on here.

I usually post Monday and Thursday but I may not always follow that schedule, I’ll try my best but there will be days when I’m really busy or I just don’t feel up to it, weeks even but that doesn’t mean I’m not present. I may not be putting up a post that week but I’m always available to answer your questions or help you get through something. So if you need advice, head back to my welcome page for ways to contact me. I’ve found that talking to strangers about your problems is easier than talking to people you’re close to and hopefully, when we’re done talking it out I wouldn’t be so much of a stranger to you anymore.
